The Cast of Wizard of Oz On Ice

Julia was born and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and began her skating journey at the age of three. She quickly developed a passion for storytelling and artistry on the ice. Julia has competed at the U.S. National Championships in Senior Ladies Freestyle and Senior Ice Dance, and spent many years representing Team USA in international competitions. With an extensive background in ballroom, ballet, and jazz, she brings versatility, musicality, and elegance to every performance.

Her professional credits include performing with Royal Caribbean Entertainment as part of the inaugural ice cast on Star of the Seas, as well as appearing in Ice Creative Entertainment’s holiday show Winter Wonderland on Ice at SeaWorld. Julia looks forward to continuing to grow her career in ice shows around the world and expanding her experiences with companies across the globe.

Shawn is a Canadian figure skater from Edmundston, New Brunswick. He began skating at age nine and went on to compete at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin, Italy, as well as at multiple World Championships. A four-time Canadian national medalist and Grand Prix champion, Shawn later brought his talents to the shows, touring internationally with Cirque du Soleil and Stars on Ice. 

Renowned for his exceptional flexibility, artistry, and boundless energy, he continues to captivate audiences worldwide. 

Off the ice, Shawn is passionate about tattoos, candy, and owls.

 Sebastian is a Canadian figure skater born and raised in Montréal, Quebec. He began skating at the age of five and has competed in all disciplines of the sport. He specializes in pairs skating and has represented Canada at multiple Junior Grand Prix events and the Junior World Championships. Sebastian is also a two-time Junior Canadian silver medalist in pairs.

Off the ice, he enjoys hiking, savoring coffee, and creating homemade sauces, bringing the same dedication and creativity to his personal passions as he does to skating.

Violet, originally from Northern Virginia, began skating at age six and hasn’t stopped since. After exploring nearly every discipline the sport has to offer, she ultimately found her passion in show skating.

She has performed in a number of shows, including Winter Wonderland on Ice at SeaWorld Orlando and Holiday Spectacular on Ice starring Nancy Kerrigan, and will be making her return to The All-New Wizard of Oz on Ice, reprising her role as the Tin Man.

Felipe grew up skating in Alexandria, Virginia. He has competed nationally with Virginia Ice Theatre for the past seven years and represented the United States at the 2024 Nations Cup in France.

Felipe has performed professionally for several years, including standout appearances in SeaWorld’s Winter Wonderland on Ice. Most recently, he toured nationally with The Wizard of Oz on Ice and performed in Glisten for Jollywood Nights at Disney.

From her hometown in Williamsburg, Virginia, Emily has been skating for over twenty years. She trained in Northern Virginia and competed through the Senior level before starting her professional career in 2016. Since then she has had the opportunity to work with Disney On Ice, Willy Bietak Productions, Glacier Ice Shows, and now Ice Creative Entertainment.

Sydney is a figure skater from Kent, Ohio, whose skating journey began as a clumsy toddler being guided around a crowded public session by her mom, an early moment that sparked a lifelong passion for the ice. She continued competing through grade school and college, representing her university and earning medals at U.S. national collegiate-level competitions.

After graduating, Sydney followed her dream into the world of show skating. She has performed for two consecutive seasons in Disney’s Jollywood Nights and brought Tinkerbell to life in Peter Pan and Wendy on Ice.

She is thrilled to continue spreading the magic as Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz on Ice. Ta-ta!

Reuben was born in Cambodia and raised in Connecticut, shaping a diverse perspective that carries into his work on and off the ice. He has built a standout presence on social media and found notable success in the skating world through multiple performance contracts. Reuben is widely recognized for pioneering the art of hoverboarding on ice, a unique act he created and introduced for major productions, including Disney on Ice.

Looking ahead, he aims to continue expanding within the skating industry, focusing on the production and business side of entertainment to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the ice.

Nikita was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and began figure skating at the age of three. He went on to compete internationally before retiring from competitive skating at the age of 23. After a short break, Nikita discovered new inspiration in the performance side of the sport and began skating professionally in ice shows around the world.

Between show contracts, he coaches skaters and continues to deepen his interests in music and art, using his creative pursuits to further enrich his work on the ice.

Natchuda “Maymay” was born in Seattle, Washington, and has been skating for 15 years, dedicating her athletic career to competitive pair skating. Her commitment to the sport has taken her across the country, where she has lived and trained in California, Florida, Michigan, and Colorado.

Maymay’s journey in pair skating has been defined by her determination, adaptability, and passion for performing. One of the highlights of her career has been transitioning into show skating, where she continues to share her love of the sport onstage as a pair skater.

Kayleigh is a multi-talented performer from Middleton, Idaho, whose skating journey began at the age of five. In addition to her skating career, she is trained in fire spinning, juggling, and aerial acrobatics, bringing a dynamic range of skills to the stage.

She has performed in a variety of productions, including The All-New Wizard of Oz On Ice tour, Holiday Spectacular on Ice starring Nancy Kerrigan, and shows at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. With her blend of artistry and versatility, Kayleigh continues to captivate audiences wherever she performs.

Alex Wilfand is a creative director, visionary live entertainment producer, and successful entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the global entertainment industry. As the founder and CEO of Ice Creative Entertainment, Alex has built one of the most innovative and respected production companies in the field, delivering immersive, high-impact shows for theme parks, touring productions, casinos, cruise lines, resorts, and international festivals, and more.

His unique expertise lies in combining custom music, choreography, scenic design, technical production, and top-tier talent into seamless experiences that leave lasting impressions. With a client list including Disney Parks, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Dubai Parks & Resorts, and dozens of international partners, Alex is known for delivering turnkey productions with precision and flair.

Payton Justice is a Nashville based actor, writer, and creative. He studied Musical Theatre at the Boston Conservatory before moving to Nashville in 2019. Alongside his work with Ice Creative Productions, regional performance credits include companies such as Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Priscilla Beach Theatre, Backlight Productions, and more.

Alongside composer Matthew Claibourne, Payton co-developed the book and lyrics for “Wizard of Oz on Ice”. He has also helped write and develop several other Ice Creative Entertainment shows, including “Peter Pan & Wendy on Ice”, “Dinosaurs: Live!”, “Pirates on the Pier”, and “City of History”. Matthew Claiborne is the Owner and Lead Composer of Flamingo Sound, a full-service production studio specializing in music production and audio design for soundtracks in the themed entertainment industry. 

His clients include Disney World Parks & Resorts, Legoland Parks Global, Six Flags, Gaylord Hotels, and more.

Stephanee Grosscup has devoted more than four decades to the art of ice skating. Her professional career spans over 30 years, performing around the world as a principal skater with Ice Follies, Disney on Ice, Paradise on Ice, Ice Theatre of New York, Sun Valley on Ice, and in numerous television and film productions.

From 2001 to 2004, she served as Director of Skating at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex, co-creating programs that remain in place today. Stephanee was also part of the choreography team for the 2002 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Her choreography credits include National, World, and Olympic competitors, including current Olympic Champion Nathan Chen.

In 2010, she began a five-year collaboration with Volkswagen, choreographing Fairytales on Ice at Autostadt in Wolfsburg, Germany, where she helped bring 20 full-length productions to life. Since 2015, she has continued her work as the ensemble choreographer for Sun Valley on Ice’s summer productions.

Stephanee specializes in choreography, character development, production, ensemble and synchro work, spins, innovative 360-degree movement, and mentoring skaters of all levels as they pursue their dreams.

Katy Garrity is an international figure skater and choreographer with Czech–American citizenship. She has competed internationally and skated with various companies worldwide. In addition to her competitive career, she coaches and choreographs internationally for Theatre on Ice and various other shows, combining strong technical skill with theatrical performance. 

Kelsea is a Nashville, Tennessee native with a dynamic background in live entertainment and performance. She began her career performing as world-famous Disney characters, developing a strong foundation in character integrity, guest engagement, and large-scale themed entertainment. Since 2018, Kelsea has served as a Lead Entertainment Manager with Ice Creative Entertainment, where she oversees high-profile properties including Gaylord Opryland, international touring productions, and bespoke special events. Known for her leadership, attention to detail, and performer-first approach, Kelsea plays a key role in delivering polished, memorable experiences across a wide range of live entertainment platforms.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Matthew Holmberg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Music Business focus from Belmont University. He began his career in the music industry working at Broken Bow Music Group/BMG, where he worked across radio promotions and marketing. During his time there, he contributed to the promotion and development of artists such as Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Dustin Lynch, and many others.

For the past four years, Matthew has been with Ice Creative Entertainment, where he serves as the Director of Business Operations. In this role, he oversees operational strategy, business development, and Ice Creative’s ongoing growth and innovative productions, including projects for Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and more.
